Rinjani Mountain Trek

The Rinjani is noted for the second highest volcano mountain  in Indonesia at 3 726m, the summit recorded last erupted in 1901, while the volcano located by the beautiful crater lake erupted at the-end 2016 and continued as recently 2017. The crater lake is called “Segara Anak” and the new volcano was named “Gunung Baru” near to the lake is a hot spring water which is considering secret and abode of deity by local Sasak and Baliness people. Trekker visits this spot as soaking in water and enjoy the beautiful sulfur waterfall. Anyhow  Rinjani Mount trek will be an unforgettable part of yours in Lombok island. Camp areas without toilet facilities then our tour guide and porters will make a room screen to bury  your toilet waste  in a shallow hole.

What is including in your Rinjani Trek :

• Accomodation, One night standard hotel in Senaru on first night before the trek, rest of the night will be in tent of camp according to the trek.
• Transport pick up and drop services (an extra charge for boat-sail from/to Gili)
• Guide & Porters, you ‘ll be companied by expart trek english guide and porters carry our camp equipment and food

Day 1, Pick up service and Transfer to Senaru    (D)

On day of arrival on Lombok we pick you up at international airport or in Lembar harbor for passenger using regulars Ferry from Bali to Lombok, or Teluk Kodek, Teluk Nare, Bangsal where those famous for Gili harbor.

Or we pick you up at any hotel stay in the area of Kuta Mandalika, Senggigitown, Mataram capital city,  even in famous tourist destination. Then drive you to Senaru, afternoon  visit the two biggest waterfall.

While in the evening there is a brief with your Trek guide dinner and over night is included.

Day 2, Trek to Crater Rim    (B. L. D)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Sembalun for Rinjani National Park registration, checking the tickets while the porters awaiting you to begins.

08.30am start trek from Sembalun with gentle ascent walking through undulating open grasslands as we get deeper into the mountain, we stop at shelter-pos for rest-break, snack, and lunch, and in the afternoon climb steep ascend amidst the pine like casuarinas species local known as Cemara to camp site at  Pelawangan Sembalun-east crater rim at 2 639 m where you have amazing view of the mountain.

Day 3, East Crater Rim-Lake-West Crater Rim    (B. L. D)

Wake up early to see the sun rise above the cloud  and enjoy the view of crater rim, breakfast before beginning the descend down to Segaranak lake (2000m) . it tae 2.5 to 3 hours steep trail to the crater lake. Enjoy  the new volcano mount in the lake and soaking in the hot spring water while porters prepare your lunch in lake side. About 14.30 leave the lake area and ascend up to west crater rim (Senaru) then approximately 17.30 you arrive at crater rim camp area. you can enjoy the second best view as it is closed looks  to summit of the mountain and overall view to every corners of the lake and stunning sunset comes out from mount Agung in Bali.

Note : if you wish trek up to summit just add US$ 30.00 each couple

Day4, West Crater Rim-Senaru then your next destination    (B. L)

After satisfying to see the spectacular views, also a breakfast then descend down to Senaru (approx. 6 hrs) for it first two hours descends from the savanna amidst  then four hours descends  unther the shadow of tropical forest that rich in flora bird singing and various of butterflies, rare ebony black monkeys  “LUTUNG” in local sometimes found. Lunch will be served at pos-shelter.

In the afternoon after six hours descending from the rim, finally we arrive at gateway or Rinjani Trek Office where our car waits to drive you to get a bit rest at your first night hotel before trekking. Every thing is alright with your belonging, say good by to your porters then our driver drive you to your next destination or to hotel you have been booked. (an extra charge require for boat-sail if you stay in gili)

Cancellation Policy

A 21 days cancellation notice is required to group arrival and 14 days to individual / couple guest or subject to agreement with hotels. Any cancellation with less than 21 days for group and 14 days to individual traveling will charge a 30% cancellation fee. A full charge will be imposed for a “no-show”.
